HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Troy men's tennis team dropped another close match on Saturday, falling to Lamar, 4-3, on a neutral court in Hattiesburg, Miss.

Troy (1-8) lost the doubles point and was down 3-0 after losses at No. 1 and No. 3 singles. However, Troy fought back as Daniel Bustamante and Pablo Morenoa picked up wins.

Bustamante won at No. 4 in straight sets, 6-0, 6-2, while Moreno was at No. 6 and also won in straight sets, 6-2, 7-5.

Lamar (8-5) went on to clinch the match with a win at No. 5 singles before Sami Ghorbel won at No. 2 to make the final scored 4-3. Full results are below.

The Trojans return to the court on Sunday, March 9, when they travel to take on Florida Gulf Coast.
