Trojans Set for Home Opener on Friday

TROY, Ala. – The Troy men's tennis team will play its first home match of the season on Friday when Alabama A&M visits the Lunsford Tennis Complex at 10 a.m.

Troy (0-5) last played nearly two weeks ago in a 6-1 loss at No. 70 Tulane. Four of the Trojans' five losses this season have come to ranked opponents, all on the road.

Sami Ghorbel and Gabriel Sciacca Dias have each played at No. 1 singles for the Trojans this season. Daniel Bustamante has posted the best singles record, going 2-2, at No. 3 and No. 4.

Alabama A&M (0-2) lost to No. 28 Auburn, 7-0, in its most recent match last Saturday. The Bulldogs have also lost to No. 33 Alabama this season.
