The series was originally scheduled to begin Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. and the Trojans are hosting their first home game since February 17. Troy enters the series looking to rebound after dropping its second Sun Belt series of the season at North Texas last weekend. Troy picked up a comeback victory by rallying from a six-run deficit in their last at-bat to knock off North Texas 10-8. North Texas used a rally of its own to take game two and picked up the series win on Sunday..

Last season, ULM took the series, winning the final two games at the Warhawk Softball Complex in Monroe, La., after Troy won the first game of the three-game set.

Troy (12-18, 2-3 Sun Belt) enters the weekend as one of Sun Belt's top offensive teams, leading the league in doubles (45), second in the Sun Belt in base hits (213) and third in the conference in home runs (18).

Hannah Renn's seven home runs and 23 RBIs lead the team, while Chandler Griffin and Caitlin Ortiz lead the conference in doubles with nine a piece. Kacie McAllister enters the series with a 14-game hitting streak, which is tied with Kala Moore's 14-game streak from 2010 for the longest in the last five seasons.

ULM (13-15, 0-3 Sun Belt) heads to Troy after dropping a 1-0 midweek contest at McNeese State on Tuesday. Janel Salanoa leads the Warhawks, batting at a .338 clip through
the 28 games. Alexis Cacioppo leads ULM in home runs (five) and RBIs (13).

With one victory this weekend, Troy head coach Melanie Davis will pick up her 750th career victory as the head coach of the Trojans.

Troy and ULM will conclude the series on a Sunday afternoon at the Troy Softball Complex. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
