Trio of Trojans Finish at Even-Par at Seminole Intercollegiate

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Troy men's golf team wrapped up play Sunday at the Seminole Intercollegiate with a team score 297, to finish the 54-hole tournament in ninth at 13-over par.

Three Trojans finished at even-par including Phillip Brennan, Tolver Dozier and Jake Tucker.

Brennan shot a one-over par, 73, for the second day in a row, to finish tied for 17^th with a 54-hole total 216.

Dozier finished Sunday at even-par, and the tournament at 216, even-par, to also tie for 17^th.

Tucker entered Sunday's final 18 holes tied for 10^th, but dropped a 76 in the day's action to round out the three Trojan finishers tied for 17^th also with a total score 216.

Wil Clowdus shot a nine-over par, 81, on Sunday to finish the tournament 58^th at 234, 18-over par overall, while Kyle Thommesen finished 62^nd with a 239.

Florida State's Daniel Berger picked up the individual title with an 11-under par performance, to lead the Seminoles to the team title by six strokes over Mississippi State, with an overall total of 839.

Troy will be back in action Friday, Mar. 22, as they travel to Greenville, S.C., to compete in the Furman Intercollegiate.
