Trojans Host FIU, Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Special

TROY, Ala. – With both the men's and women's teams hosting FIU on Valentine's Day, Troy University basketball will be offering a Sweetheart Special. All couples in attendance on Thursday, February 14, will receive two tickets for the price of one. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling the Troy ticket office, or fans can take advantage of the deal on game night. Tip-off for the women's game is set for 5:15 p.m., while the men will begin at approximately 7:30 p.m.
The women's team is coming off of a thrilling 74-70 overtime victory at Middle Tennessee, the first ever victory against the Blue Raiders. Joanna Harden led the Trojans with 27 points, earning the first Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week honor in program history.
The men are looking for payback against a FIU squad that barely escaped with a 61-55 win in Miami less than one month ago. The Trojans are tied for the eighth seed in the upcoming Sun Belt Conference Tournament, just one half game behind Florida Atlantic.
