SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Troy women's basketball team will play its final non-conference game of the season on Sunday when the Trojans travel to take on Savannah State. Tipoff at Tiger Arena is set for 6 p.m. CST.

Troy (4-6) last played nine days ago in a 113-105, overtime loss at Alabama. The Trojans took a five-day break for Christmas before returning to the practice court on Thursday.
The Trojans will look to finish non-conference play on a high note after the sour taste of a near win over Alabama last Friday. Troy led that game, 92-89, when Alabama tied the game with a 3-pointer with six seconds remaining. The Crimson Tide scored the first seven points of overtime and Troy never caught back up.
Troy is now averaging 85.1 points per game, the 11th best mark in the nation and the best in the Sun Belt, nearly 13.0 points over WKU and Arkansas State who are tied for second in the league.
The Trojans force 23.5 turnovers per game, the second best mark in the conference. They committed a season-low 10 turnovers at Alabama and now have a +4.20 turnover margin, tops in the Sun Belt and 38th best in the nation.
Joanna Harden averages 24.8 point per game for Troy, the sixth best mark in the country and tops in the Sun Belt. The senior guard is the only Sun Belt player averaging over 20.0 per game and has scored 20-plus in seven of 10 games this season.
Ashley Beverly-Kelley is averaging 15.3 points per game after 55 points in her last two games, including a career-high tying 33 at Alabama on 13-of-17 shooting from the field.
Brooke Bowie also averages double figures for the Trojans at 10.7 points per game and is the top 3-point shooter in the Sun Belt with 2.3 made 3-pointers per game. Bowie is also the Trojans top rebounder at 7.5 boards per game thanks to 30 rebounds in her last three games.
Savannah State (5-7) will be playing its second game in as many days after an 82-40 loss at No. 12/13 South Caroling on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Tigers have played 10 straight away from home and will be playing at Tiger Arena for the first time since November 16.
Savannah State is led in soring by Ezinne Kalu who averages 14.1 points per game, but scored just five off the bench at South Carolina. Jasmine Kirkland led the Lady Tigers with 19 points against the Gamecocks.Â
Freshman post player Tiyonda Davis had just two points and three rebounds against South Carolina, but averages 7.3 boards per game to lead Savannah State. Davis also averages 1.5 blocks per game, ranking fourth in the MEAC.
Following Sunday's game, the Trojans travel to Atlanta to take on Georgia State on Wednesday, New Year's Day, in the Sun Belt opener for both teams.
