Trojans to Host Basketball Fan Day November 2

TROY, Ala. – With winter sports just around the corner, Troy will open up Trojan Arena for Fan Day. The meet-and-greet session will begin at 1 p.m. inside the 5,200 seat arena on Saturday, November 2.
Members of the Troy University men's and women's basketball teams will be in attendance to pose for pictures and sign autographs. Sodexo will provide popcorn and soft drinks for all those in attendance.
Women's basketball is looking to continue to improve under second year head coach Chanda Rigby. Fans can also check out the Trojans at their exhibition game against West Florida on Monday, October 28.Â
Men's basketball opens up 2013-14 with an exhibition against Victory on Tuesday, October 29, at 7 p.m. The Trojans return seven athletes from a season ago, including six seniors, and will look to turn over a new leaf under first year head coach Phil Cunningham.
Both teams open up the regular season on the road on November 8, and return home for a double-header on November 11, beginning at 5:15 p.m.
