TROY, Ala. – The Troy volleyball team continues Sun Belt play this weekend as Georgia State visits Trojan Arena at 7 p.m. on Friday and ULM visits at 12 p.m. on Sunday.

Troy (7-12, 2-3) is coming off of a five-set loss to Sun Belt leader UALR on Monday at Trojan Arena. Prior to that, Troy opened its four-match homestand with a sweep of Louisiana-Lafayette last Friday.

Offensively, the Trojans are led by Marija Zelenovic and her 3.33 kills/set average, the fourth best mark in the Sun Belt. Blair Winston is averaging 2.79 kills/set on the season, including 3.47 kills/set in Sun Belt play.

Alexandra Alexander is averaging 10.16 assists/set in Sun Belt play, one of just four setters in the conference over the 10.00 mark. She is also averaging 3.00 digs/set, just outside of the Sun Belt's top 10.

Defensively, Courtney Cohen is averaging 4.05 digs/set on the season and sits with 1,815 career digs, just 185 away from becoming the first Troy player and fifth Sun Belt player to eclipse the 2,000 career dig mark.

Georgia State (5-14, 0-5) enters Friday's match on a seven-match losing streak, including five straight to open Sun Belt play. Last weekend, the Panthers lost in straight sets to two other new Sun Belt members, Texas State and UT Arlington, both at home.

ULM (5-16, 1-4) enters the weekend after a five-set home win over South Alabama last weekend. That win snapped a six-match losing streak for the Warhawks. ULM will play at WKU on Friday before traveling to Troy.

Since moving to Division I in 1993, Troy is 8-12 against Georgia State, including a neutral court meeting last year that the Panthers won in Athens, Ga. Troy is 9-0 since moving to Division I against ULM, including a four-set win at home last season.
