Four Trojans Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

TROY, Ala. - Four members of the 2025 Troy volleyball team were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday. Amiah Butler, Kalina Calvillo, Olivia Kwiatkowski and Jaci Mesa received the honor.
To be eligible, the student-athletes must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA and have appeared in 90 percent of the institution's matches or must have started in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches. The four selections were the maximum allowed under the current CSC Academic All-District guidelines.
Senior outside hitter Amiah Butler earned the honor for the third straight season and holds a 3.53 GPA as an exercise science major. Butler was the cornerstone of the Troy offense this season, leading the team with 460 kills while ranking second among Sun Belt players in kills per set (4.55). For her outstanding season, Butler was selected to the All-Sun Belt First Team.
Sophomore outside hitter Kalina Calvillo, an exercise physiology major, boasts a 3.89 GPA. Calvillo appeared in all 26 matches and finished second on the team with 243 kills, while also recording 28 aces and 38.0 total blocks.
Sophomore outside hitter Olivia Kwiatkowski earned the honor with a 3.85 cumulative GPA as a political science major. Kwiatkowski finished the season with 193 kills and 26 aces and also added 185 digs.
Senior libero Jaci Mesa was named to the All-District Team for the third consecutive season. Mesa is pursuing a graduate degree in sports management and currently holds a 4.0 GPA. She led the Trojans with 303 digs and ranked third on the team with 81 assists.
