Troy Finishes Tied for Fourth at ASU Red Wolf Intercollegiate

JONESBORO, Ark. – After 18 holes of play at the 16th Annual ASU Red Wolf Intercollegiate, a winner was yet to be determined.
Arkansas State's Sawyer Radler, Tennessee-Martin's Graham Sleigh and Vanderbilt's Charlie Ewing and Will Snipes all finished the tournament tied for first with a four-under 209 and went into a sudden death playoff. After four holes, Radler claimed the individual over the duo from Vanderbilt.
Ricky Casko (72-67-71-210), who sat tied for first entering Tuesday's final round, was a mere one stroke away from the playoff, but still managed to claim a tie for fifth with a tournament total three-under par, 210 performance.
Tolver Dozier (71-71-74-216), who entered the round tied for eighth, dropped to a tie for 15th after shooting a third round three-over par 74. Dozier's first two rounds of 71 added to the 74 combined for a three-over par, 216 final score.
Freshman Jake Tucker (73-77-70-220) improved his standing in the final round after being tied for 61st. Tucker opened on the fifth hole with a bogey and kept a one-over par through the entire back nine before carding a birdie on the second hole to finish the round at one-under par. Tucker's three combined scores made for a finish of tied for 40th with a total score of 220.
Kyle Thommesen (82-73-73-228) matched his second round 73 in Tuesday's final round to finish tied for 84th with a 15-over par 228. Phillip Brennan (79-79-74), the fifth man on Troy's team, improved on his first and second round scores with a three-over par 74 to finish tied for 94th at 19-over par. Wil Clowdus, who competed as an individual, finished tied for 40th at nine-over par.
Troy finished tied for fourth as a team with No. 87 Jacksonville State. The Trojans third round 288 matched that of the second round to make the team total 871 at 19-over par. Sun Belt opponent Arkansas-Little Rock claimed the team title with a four-under par performance. Austin Peay and No. 79 Vanderbilt rounded out the top three.
Troy will be in action again on April 14-15 when they travel to Raleigh, N.C. to compete in the Wolfpack Spring Open.
