Troy Announces Basketball Holiday Giveback

TROY, Ala. – Troy Athletics is offering free admission to its two holiday basketball games as a giveback to the loyal Trojan fans and in turn Troy Athletics is asking that fans give back to the local community with a donation to the Salvation Army.
The Troy women play Florida Atlantic on Friday at noon and the Troy men play Florida Atlantic on Thursday, Dec. 27, at 7 p.m. in Trojan Arena. Admission to both games will be free and fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the Salvation Army with them to Trojan Arena. All of the donated goods will go directly to families of need in Pike County.
“We felt like this was the perfect opportunity to show our appreciation to our fans with the gift of free basketball and at the same time give our fans an opportunity to show their support of the local community and those in need,” Troy Athletics Director John Hartwell said.
