Troy Prepares for ULL in Sun Belt Matchup

Troy soccer will host the Ragin Cajuns on Sunday.
TROY, Ala. – Troy soccer prepares to take their Sun Belt success to Louisiana-Lafayette as they host the Ragin' Cajuns on Sunday.
Troy (6-3-1; 1-0) enters off of the momentum of their Sun Belt opener victory over Louisiana-Monroe on Friday. However, the Trojans will not have long to recover in preparation for a tough Louisiana-Lafayette squad.
Louisiana-Lafayette (4-5-1; 0-1) will come to Troy ready to redeem themselves off of a 3-0 Sun Belt opener loss to South Alabama. The matchup between the Trojans and the Ragin' Cajuns always proves to be vital as both teams are tied 3-3 in their all time meeting record with Troy winning the last 1-0.
“ULL is a hard working blue collar team that can compete with anyone in our league,” said head coach Chris Bentley. “We need to put in a quality effort tomorrow to get a result.”
