Troy Aiming for 2-0

TROY GAME NOTES

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Troy is hoping to reach 2-0 on the young season when it visits the University of Alabama on Monday night.

The Trojans are making their third trip to Tuscaloosa to face the Crimson Tide. Troy is 0-2 all-time against the in-state opponent.

Troy earned a victory in the season opener on Friday with a 100-59 win over Huntingdon College. Five different Trojans scored in double-figures led by 21 points from senior guard Vernon Taylor.

The Crimson Tide picked up a 76-37 win over Florida A&M in their season opening contest on Friday night. All-SEC forward JaMychal Green led the charge with 14 points.

Tip-off for Monday night's contest is set for 7 pm in Coleman Coliseum. Troy fans not able to make the trip can catch all the action on the Troy Sports Network presented by IMG College or via All-Acess on TroyTrojans.com.
