Olivia Mills begins her second season as a member of the women’s soccer coaching staff at Troy.
Mills comes to Troy after spending the 2015 season as the goalkeeper coach at Stetson, where she also worked to design and facilitate all aspects of team training.
A 2015 graduate of Valdosta State with a degree in Exercise Physiology, Mills spent four seasons in goal with the Blazers, helping lead VSU to the 2014 Gulf South Conference championship and a No. 23 ranking as well as three consecutive (2012-14) NCAA Division II Tournament appearances. A team captain, Mills was a first-team all-region selection as a senior and earned all-conference honors three times. She was also named to the Gulf South’s all-academic team as a sophomore, junior and senior.
A native of Colorado Spring, Colo., Mills put her degree to good use this summer as a strength and conditioning intern at Colorado State, where she assisted in coaching student-athletes in all aspects of summer workout programs.
