Entering her second year, Hailey Kuhns joined the women’s basketball program with an extensive basketball background. Hired in June 2022 as the new Director of Operations, she comes to Troy after stints with the ULM and LSU basketball teams in her home state of Louisiana.
As a graduate assistant with ULM, Kuhns coordinated the program’s community outreach and promotional gameday events. She also aided in the rejuvenation of the women’s basketball booster club and the reconnection of alum relations.
As a manager/graduate manager with LSU, Kuhns collaborated with the logistics of the team’s travel. She recruited and trained new managers in all managerial duties along with filming practices and games and prepared video edits for the teams and coaches.
The Louisiana native is also engaged in the community as she has volunteered with numerous organizations, including the American Heart Association, the New Orleans Pelicans, Girls on The Run, and the Zurich Classic.
Kuhns graduated from LSU with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a focus on sports administration. She got her master’s degree at LSU as well, as she has a master’s of science with a kinesiology focus.
