Freshman (track): Ran distance for the Trojans…placed seventh in the 1500-meter run at Troy’s Coach “O” Invitational with a new personal best of 4:15.32… also ran in the 800-meter and 600-meter races.
Freshman (Cross Country): Competed in six meets for the Trojans… Finished fourth on the team at the Sun Belt Championships with a time of 28:28.5… Finished fourth on the team at the Crimson Classic… Placed 10th overall at the Coach “O” Invitational.
High School: Ran track and field at Scottsboro High School in Scottsboro, Ala. … competed in the 400- and 800-meters… team captain senior year… named all-metro area by the Hunstsville Times… state champion in the 800-meter in both indoor and outdoor track… all-state in the 800- and 1600-meter as well as the 4x800-meter relay in both the indoor and outdoor seasons... holds the school record in the 800-meter… team placed second at the state meet in 2009… regional champions five straight years… also participate in football… holds the school records for most interception yards in a season and in a career and most career fumble recoveries… is third in school history in tackles… three-time all-region selection.
