High School: Attended Sands Secondary School in Delta, British Columbia... played catcher and outfield under coaches Debbie Smallwood and Lesley Monk... played on Team British Columbia in the 2003 Western Canadian Summer Games and 2005 Summer Games, where the team received a gold medal... was named all-star catcher and top batter at the 2003 Canada National Championships... totaled a .614 batting average... earned a place on the U-19 Canadian Junior National Team who will participate in the 2006 Pan-American Qualifiers for the 2007 Junior World Championship... also played volleyball and basketball... was an honors student with a 4.0... named top scholar in 10th grade.
Personal: Born May 13, 1988, in British Columbia, Canada... daughter of Mary and Ian McLean... has two brothers, Matt and Jamie... her biggest personal sports thrill was winning the gold medal at the 2005 Canada Summer Games... majoring in biology.
