OUTLOOK: Speedy runner who came out of spring practice as the backup at the feature back position.
2007: Saw action in 11 games as a reserve running back and special teams player ... Had eight rushing attempts on the season for 35 yards ... Five of his attempts, for 27 yards, came in the win over Middle Tennessee ... Also had one catch for nine yards in that game ... Lost one fumble in the game at ULL.
2006: Saw action in 10 games as a reserve defensive back and special teams performer...Was credited with four tackles on the year, with two coming against Louisiana Lafayette.
PREP: Was a four-year letter winner for coach Ken Ritch at Pike County HS ... Primarily played running back, but also played quarterback and in the secondary ... Was a three-time All-Area pick and was named his team’s best offensive player four straight years ... Rushed for more than 1,000 yards in each of his final two seasons, scoring 12 touchdowns as a junior and 15 as a senior ... Also recorded more than 220 tackles during his prep career ...
