OUTLOOK: Came out of spring practice as the backup at nose tackle, despite suffering a concussion during spring drills.
2007: Saw action in 10 games as a reserve defensive tackle ... Was credited with 13 total tackles during the season, including one tackle for loss against North Texas ... Had three tackles in that game as well as the game at ULL.
2006: Sat out season due to a violation of team rules.
2005: Saw action in five games as a reserve defensive lineman ... Had a total of three tackles on the season, including one for loss against Florida Atlantic.
2004: Redshirted.
PREP: Played four seasons for current Troy receivers coach Shayne Wasden at Eufaula High School ... As a senior, was the anchor of a defensive unit that allowed only 142 points in 12 games ... Led the Tigers to an 11-1 record and the class 5A Region 2 title as a senior and a 37-9 record and two region titles during his career ... Recorded 94 tackles, 14 of which were for a loss, during his senior campaign ... Also recorded seven sacks, one forced fumble, three fumble recoveries and one blocked kicked, earning first-team All-State, Dothan Eagle Super 12 and All-Area honors ... Served as team captain and was named Most Valuable Defensive Lineman by his team as a senior ... Led team to No. 1 ranking at the end of the regular season, before falling to eventual state 5A champion Briarwood in the second round of the playoffs...Selected to participate in the Alabama North/South All-Star Game ...
