Earned All-Second Belt Second Team honors after he led the Trojans with a 2.85 ERA … Finished the year with a 6-3 record and 60 strikeouts in 88.1 innings pitched, both second best on the team … Opponents hit .258 against him, which was the second lowest on the team … Posted a 6-2 record and 2.66 ERA in Sun Belt games … Earned his first career start as a Trojan against Georgia Southern, where he pitched seven innings and allowed one run in a winning effort … Struck out a season-high nine batters against Alabama A&M … Did not allow a run and pitched seven innings against Texas State … Struck out eight in seven innings pitched at ULM without issuing a walk … Combined for 14 innings pitched, nine hits, two runs and three walks in two starts against Georgia State and Little Rock … Pitched a complete game six-hitter vs. Georgia State and allowed one earned run and struck out five … Tossed a complete game in first road start at Appalachian State … Went at least seven innings in nine out of 10 starts (all nine starts during the regular season) … Recorded five quality starts and went 5-0 at home during the regular season
