2009: Finished as the Trojans' leading hitter, posting a .350 batting average in 53 games, 45 as a starter ... Started 40 games in left field and five as DH ... Exploded onto the scene for Troy in the seventh game of the year, and just his second start, when he became the first Trojan in history to hit for the cycle, pulling the trick against Memphis (2/28) ... Scored three times and drove in five in his historic performance ... Went on from there to have 23 extra-base hits for the year, with 13 doubles and nine homers, while driving in 35 runs ... Had 14 multiple-hit games and eight multiple-RBI games during the year ... Hit .491 as a leadoff hitter (28-of-57) ... Had a season-high 11-game hit streak (3/29-4/12) and ended the season on a 10-game streak, hitting .500 (17-for-34) over that stretch ...
