2012 (Junior): Credited with nine starts on the season and appeared in 11 games (missed Troy’s game at South Alabama with minor injury) … Will be Troy’s top returning tackler after finishing fourth on the team last year with 61 total tackles and 46 solo stops … Finished 34th in the Sun Belt with his 5.5 tackles-per-game average … Tied for 29th in the NCAA and second in the Sun Belt with three forced fumbles … Broke up a pair of passes on the year, at UAB in the opener and at Middle Tennessee in the season finale … Made a season-high nine tackles at Florida Atlantic one week after recording eight stops against FIU … Averaged 7.2 tackles over the final six games of the season; had seven tackles against Tennessee and Navy … Forced his three fumbles in consecutive games against Western Kentucky, FIU and Florida Atlantic … Had a half tackle for loss at Tennessee … Recorded at least one tackle in 10-of-11 games played and at least six tackles in seven games
