**Walter Camp National Defensive Player of the Week (2014)**
2014 (Junior): Named the Walter Camp National Defensive Player of the Week after he intercepted three passes and returned one for a touchdown at Idaho; became the first Troy player and just the eighth from the Sun Belt to earn Walter Camp honors … One of just eight players in the country to intercept three passes in a single game … Named to the All-Sun Belt Conference First Team after he finished the year with a team-high 88 tackles and six interceptions … Led the Sun Belt and ranked ninth nationally with his six interceptions on the season – ranked seventh nationally in interceptions per game … Featured as the SportsCenter No. 6 Play of the Day and Play of the Week for his one-handed interception at Idaho … His three interceptions
at Idaho came on consecutive possessions; he tied the Troy single-game record with the three interceptions and became just the sixth player in school history to do so … Six interceptions on the season were the most by a Trojan since Terence Moore also had since in 2006 … Recorded double-digit tackles in three different games with 10 at Georgia and 11 at South Alabama and Georgia Southern … Had five or more tackles in nine different games … Picked up his lone tackle for loss of the year against New Mexico State … Also had interceptions against UAB, New Mexico State and Georgia State … Returned one kickoff for 19 yards at Georgia

High School: Named the Georgia 3-AAA District Player of the Year after he tallied more than 1,000 yards offensively; he rushed for 19 touchdowns and caught three touchdown passes … Defensively he intercepted five passes … Helped lead Burke County to the Georgia AAA State Championship, had an interception in the title game … Rushed for 157 yards on 11 carries in the semifinal game against Gainesville
