Troy Set for Road Contest at Southeastern Louisiana

TROY, Ala. - Troy soccer returns to action on Thursday night, taking on Southeastern Louisiana in Hammond, La. Kickoff from Strawberry Stadium is set for 7 p.m.
The Trojans will look to rebound following a 2-0 defeat in the season opener at Middle Tennessee. After a scoreless first 45 minutes that featured three Troy corners to MTSU's one, the Blue Raiders took control of the second half, holding a 12-2 advantage in shots while scoring both goals on dead-ball opportunities.
Goalkeeper Taylor Richards returned to action after missing the final four matches of last season due to injury. Richards, a two-time Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week, made five saves in her return to the pitch last Thursday.
