Track and Field Concludes Dick Roberts Seminole Invite

Tallahassee, Fla. -Â Troy track and field concluded two days of competition at the Dick Roberts Seminole Invite Saturday afternoon.
On Friday, Whitney Clark threw a huge personal best of 44.43m to win the javelin, nearly three meters further than her previous mark of 41.58m. Carlee Craft also had a personal best throw of 40.30m to finish second. Â
In the men's javelin, Tyler McKinnell threw another personal best of 61.12m for the win as the lone competitor in the event. Â
Travis Massey, Michael Eady, Jared Jones and Milos Nisic ran a 40.28 to finish first in the men's 4x100. Â
On Saturday afternoon, Jasmine Jimenez finished first in the women's 400 in 57.29 over her teammate, Jaime Preston, who finished third in 58.57. Â
Jonas Koturenka ran a personal best of 1:50.14 in the 800 to finish second overall.Â
Ethan Forbes finished third overall in the 1500 in 3:54.15. Patterson Graham (3:58.96) and Caden Blackman (4:00.63) finished sixth and eighth in the race as well. Â
The Trojans are back in action next weekend at the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta on April 17-18.Â
