Atlanta, Ga. – Troy track and field wrapped up two days on competition at the Georgia Tech Invitational.

On Friday evening, Shanyah Washington finished second in the women's 100 in 11.54. Faith Jones finished fifth overall in 13.52 in the women's 100-meter hurdles.

In the field, Carlee Craft threw a personal best of 42.57m in the women's javelin to finish fifth overall. Tyler McKinnell finished sixth in the men's javelin with a mark of 57.95m.

On Saturday afternoon, the quartet of Travis Massey, Michael Eady, Jared Jones and Milos Nisic ran 40.37 to finish third in the 4x100. Rachel Whyte, Jasmine Jimenez, Aaliyah Murphy and Shanyah Washington ran 45.44 to finish fourth on the women's side. Aaliyah Murphy also finished fourth in the 400-meter hurdles in 49.37.

Tayjo Oppong threw a personal best 52.37m to win the men's discus.

The Trojans are back in action next week at Penn Relays on April 23-25 in Philadelphia.
