Troy Travels to Statesboro to Face Georgia Southern

TROY, Ala. – Troy softball travels to Eagle Field for a pivotal Sun Belt series against Georgia Southern, starting on Friday, April 17, and ending on Sunday, April 19. All three games will be aired on ESPN+.
The Trojans (25-17, 5-10 SBC) roll into the weekend without a midweek for the second time in 2026. They dropped the series against Texas State, 3-0, at home last weekend, after sweeping West Georgia in their five-game homestand. The sweep placed Troy just one game ahead of the league cutline for postseason play, but it is two games away from the No. 6 seed (James Madison).
Makaley Boswell continues her season as the No. 15 shortstop in Softball America's midseason player ranking. After going 1-for-1 with stolen bases this past weekend, Boswell sits one (37) away from Natalie Turner for 10th on the all-time career stolen base list.
