Troy, Ala. - Troy men's tennis secured another home win, as it took on Mississippi Gulf Coast Saturday afternoon at the Lunsford Tennis Complex.

Troy (10-4) started the match off by successfully earning the doubles point from Mississippi Gulf Coast (5-2), with sophomore Thiago Drozdowski and freshman Stephan Tavares Noale winning on Court 1, 6-3, and sophomores Henrique de Brito and Hiiro Sakamoto taking the win on Court 3, 6-2.

Junior Luciano Alcocer and freshman Ryusei Miyazato then won on Court 2, 6-3, shortly after.

The Trojans continued to carry their winning drive into the singles matches, ending all courts in straight sets wins. Troy now prepares to finish its matchup against Alabama A&M on Sunday. Due to possible poor weather, the match's start time is to be determined.

Troy's matchup against Louisiana has been postponed.
