Track and Field Prepares for Terry Long Relays

TROY, Ala. - Troy track and field is set to compete at the Terry Long Relays at the Mike Long Track in Tallahassee, Fla.
The first event will begin Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. with the men's hammer throw and women's high jump. The track events are set to begin at 5:05 p.m. with the women's 4x100.
The Trojans look to improve on their strong showing at the USF Alumni Invitational, which was headlined by Ethan Forbes finishing top five in both the men's 800 and 1500 meters. Riley Treadaway won the men's 2000 meter steeplechase in a personal best time of 6:21.36.
Troy also had three top 10 finishes in the field events from Amir Mersal (14.82m) and Kavon Hill (14.56m) who finished sixth and 10th in the men's triple jump and Derrick Goll (56.23m), who finished 10th in the men's hammer throw.
