Ethan Forbes Collects Two Top 10 Finishes at USF Alumni Invitational

Tampa, Fla. - Troy track and field wrapped up two days of competition at the USF Alumni Invitational at the USF Track Stadium, highlighted by Ethan Forbes' second place finish in the men's 1500 and fifth in the men's 800.
Forbes ran a blazing time of 1:49.67 to finish fifth in the men's 800 and move up to second all-time in Troy history. He then followed up his strong showing in the 800 with a strong second place finish in the men's 1500 meters in 3:51.25.
Riley Treadaway won the men's 2000 meter steeplechase with a personal best time of 6:21.36.
Jasai Taylor returned to action for the Trojans after missing all of last season due to injury in the men's 400 hurdles and finished eighth in 53.36.
Troy collected three top ten finishes in the field events, led by Amir Mersal (14.82m) with a sixth place finish in the men's triple jump and Kavon Hill (14.56m) finished closely behind him in 10th. Derrick Goll (56.23m) also finished 10th in the men's hammer throw.
The Trojans return to action next Thursday at the Terry Long FSU Relays in Tallahassee, Fla.
