Troy Track and Field Opens Outdoor Season in Tampa

Troy, Ala. – Troy Track & Field heads the 2026 outdoor season at the USF Alumni Invitational from March 20-21.
The meet is set to begin Friday morning at 10 a.m. with the men's javelin. The running events will start later in the evening, with the 400-meter hurdles at 5 p.m.
The Trojans are looking to continue the momentum from their record-setting indoor season, where they set 10 new program records across seven events. The indoor season was headlined by Faith Jones, setting a new program best of 8.32 in the women's 60-meter hurdles to win gold at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships.
