Troy Track & Field Gears Up for UAB Invite

TROY, Ala. – Troy Track & Field is set to compete in its sixth meet of this indoor season, lining up for the UAB Invite in Birmingham on Saturday at the Birmingham Crossplex.
The Trojans look to continue their momentum following a strong showing in Clemson last weekend, where three school records were set.
The quartet of Romario Taylor, Antonio Blair, Dawson Isbell and Devyn Pearman set a new school record in the men's 4x400 (3:15.49). Lane Watson broke a 10-year-old record in the men's 5,000 meters in 15:17.10 and Patterson Graham set a new mark in the men's mile in 4:22.28.
The meet is set to begin at 8:45 a.m., with the women's 5,000 meters taking off first on the track. The men and women's shot put will start shortly after at 9 a.m.
