Troy Track & Field Returns to Action at UAB Vulcan Invite

TROY, Ala. - Troy Track & Field returns from the holiday break on Saturday as the Trojan women make a trip to Birmingham, Ala., for the UAB Vulcan Invite at the Birmingham Crossplex.
The Trojans opened up their indoor season at the Crossplex last month, as a first-place finish by sophomore Rachel Whyte in the 300m (39.59) highlighted Troy's day at the Birmingham Indoor Icebreaker.
Additionally, junior Kristianna Ware set a new personal best with a fourth-place finish in the triple jump (11.75m) while sophomore Haley Wilson landed fifth in the 400m (57.96).
This week, the Trojans will have 20 athletes competing across ten different events, including the 60m, 60m hurdles, 200m, 400m, 800m, 3000m, 4x400m, high jump, long jump and triple jump.
