After dropping game one 11-6, Troy bounced back with a 4-2 win. Alyssa Faircloth threw a complete game, and a three-run first inning powered the offense. Dailynn Motes went 2-for-3 with three RBIs in her start at first base.
In the final game of the series, the Trojans won a tightly contested 3-2 battle behind a go-ahead double off the bat of Makaley Boswell. Boswell's seventh inning double gave Troy a lead after the Bobcats tied it up in the sixth inning.
Following the go-ahead score, Savannah Money closed it out behind spectacular defensive plays from Orman and Cassidy Boltz to hand Troy the series victory.
Georgia State Preview
The Panthers have struggled in 2025, starting the year on an eight-game losing streak and winning just two games in conference play. Georgia State's two Sun Belt wins came in a series victory over South Alabama in March.
