Troy Collects Five Top 10 Finishes at USF Alumni Invitational

TAMPA, Fla. – Troy finished day two at the USF Alumni Invitational. The Trojans finished the weekend with multiple personal bests and five top 10 finishes at the USF Track & Field Stadium.

Shanyah Washington continued her strong weekend with an 11.64 in the women's 100-meter to win her heat and secure eighth overall. Jordan Bailey leaped to a mark of 11.88m in the women's triple jump to finish eighth overall. Tydreke Thomas ran a windy 10.37 to secure 10^th in the men's 100.

The women's quartet of Imari Johnson, Catherine Forbes, Aaliyah Muphy and Shanyah Washington darted to a 45.37 in the 4x100m, moving them up to second all-time in Troy history and eight overall at the meet. The men's 4x100m (Tydreke Thomas, Evan Brown, Keylan Hicks and Michael Eady) secured ninth overall with a time 40.69.

Evan Brown (10.55) and Noah Putnam (10.78) ran personal bests in the men's 100 and Imari Johnson (11.91) ran a personal best in the women's 100.

The Trojans are back in action next weekend in Hattiesburg from Friday, March 28, to Saturday, March 29, at the Southern Miss Invitational.
