Track & Field Set for UAB Green & Gold Invite

TROY, Ala. - Following a successful meet at the South Alabama Invite in Birmingham, Ala., the Troy track & field team is back in the Magic City this week as they're set to compete in the UAB Green & Gold Invite on Saturday.Â
The Trojans picked up numerous personal records last week and racked up seven podium finishes. Most notably, Biniosa Ezukuse took first place in shot put (14.26m) and second place in the weight throw (18.05m), setting a new personal best.Â
The field in Birmingham this week is set to include 35 schools, include Sun Belt Conference foes Georgia State, Southern Miss and ULM and in-state programs Alabama A&M, Alabama State, Samford and UAB. Â
