Troy Athletics and Baumhower’s Announce Men’s Basketball Watch Party

TROY, Ala. – In partnership with Baumhower's Victory Grille, Troy Athletics is proud to announce a watch party for the Troy men's basketball nationally televised game on Saturday night against Arkansas State. The game will air on ESPN2, with tip set for 7 p.m. CT in Jonesboro.
The official watch party headquarters of Troy Athletics, Baumhower's Victory Grille has wall-to-wall TVs that will allow for all eyes to be turned to a battle of the top two teams in the Sun Belt Conference this season. As a thank you to all that attend the watch party, each fan will receive a complimentary ticket to Troy's Feb. 20th game against Louisiana to cheer on the Trojans in person in Trojan Arena. Additionally, all fans in attendance will be to entered for a chance to win a pair of courtside tickets to next Thursday's contest.
Troy (16-9, 9-4 SBC) is hunting for its first regular season title since the 2008-09 season and its fourth straight season of double-digit Sun Belt wins. Saturday's match up is a battle between the two best teams in the conference and will have major implications for postseason seeding for the Sun Belt Tournament in Pensacola. Arkansas State (19-7, 10-3 SBC) hold a one game lead over Troy in the SBC standings.
The Trojans have gotten excellent play this season from senior guard Tayton Conerway, who is averaging a team-best 13.0 points per game. Myles Rigsby, who had 19 points in Troy's Wednesday night win against Louisiana, is sitting at 11.0 points. The Trojans rank first in the conference in rebound margin, steals per game and turnovers forced per game this season.
For those unable to attend, the game will be televised on ESPN2 and broadcast on the Troy Sports Media Network, with Barry McKnight on the call.
Troy returns home next week to close out its home slate with Louisiana on Thursday, Feb. 20th at 6 p.m., followed by its Senior Day game against Coastal Carolina on Saturday, February 22nd at 3:33 p.m.
