Troy Soccer Falls to Louisiana on Friday Night

The Ragin' Cajuns (7-5-4, 4-2-3 SBC) scored four times in each half to pull away from the Trojans, who were led offensively by redshirt freshman Megan Hamm with three of the team's five shots on goal. Goalkeeper Keely Cash recorded four saves in 90 minutes of action in her third career start.
Louisiana's Miku Kurihara netted a hat trick and added two assists, while Salma Elhaimer scored twice for the Cajuns. Charlotte Hinchey scored the match's first goal in the eighth minute, while Tori Bockstadter and Carson Glenn also added goals.
Troy (5-8-3, 0-6-3 Sun Belt) generated nine total shots and earned seven corner kicks, but couldn't break through against Louisiana goalkeeper Natalie Mayes, who finished with five saves in the shutout.
