Ja’Mia ‘Stixxs’ Hollings Signs Overseas with ASA Sceaux

TROY, Ala. – Following three seasons with the Troy women's basketball team and becoming the program's 26th player to surpass 1,000 points, Ja'Mia Hollings signs a professional deal with ASA Sceaux in Paris, France.
"Stix is continuing to make her dreams come true," head coach Chanda Rigby said. "She told me from day one that she wanted to earn her college degree, be an all-conference D-I player and play professionally overseas. She went to work and stayed determined to reach all of her goals. Signing this pro contract means she accomplished everything she set out to do. My staff and I are so proud of her and happy for her."
ASA Sceaux was founded in 1942, with green and white as its primary colors to signify hope and peace. It's located in south Paris on the northern side of France, and its roster features players from France, the United States and Tobago Vincentian.
Hollings played in 93 games with 54 starts to average 10.9 points and 7.1 rebounds. She shot 47.9 percent from the field, 31.0 from deep and 68.8 from the line. Her senior season saw 'Stix' lead the Sun Belt Conference in rebounds with 9.3 – ranked 49th in the nation – to help lead the nation's top rebounding team for the third straight season. Her 9.3 rebounds ranked 10th in Troy's single-season history. The 6-2 senior also scored the sixth-most points in a Troy D-I single season with 536 and finished her career with 46 double-digit scoring performances, nine 20-plus point games and a career-high of 30 against FIU in the second round of the WNIT.
The West Point native made two All-Sun Belt teams, joining the third team in 2022-23 on 12.7 points and 8.4 rebounds before topping off on the second team in 2023-24. She wrapped up her career, becoming the 26th player in Troy women's basketball history to surpass 1,000 points in her final game against Minnesota (Fab 4) – finished with 1,012 points. A member of the Class of 2024 at Troy, Hollings also led the team with 218 made field goals to break a D-I program record for total field goals made at 1,060.
