Trojan Arena Set to Host Troy-Minnesota for WNIT Fab 4 Matchup

TROY, Ala. – Three down, two to go for Troy women's basketball as it stays home in Trojan Arena for the Fab 4, hosting Minnesota on Wednesday, April 3, at 6 p.m. for a chance at the WNIT Championship.
"We are playing the semifinal game of a national tournament in Trojan Arena," head coach Chanda Rigby said. "This feels like a dream. We are asking all Trojans to be there Wednesday night to help us make history."
Wednesday marks the third WNIT matchup hosted in Trojan Arena in this postseason run after 2,196 fans packed Trojan Arena to witness the first-ever postseason victory, 92-62, over FIU. Then, tonight, the Trojans took on Sun Belt foe ULM for the third time in 2023-24 and completed the sweep, 89-75.
Through three postseason games, Ja'Mia Hollings has three double-doubles, averaging 22 points and 12 rebounds. Makayia Hallmon sits second in scoring for Troy with 17.3 points while shooting 12-of-16 from the line. The Trojans shot 48.2 percent from the field, 40 percent from deep and outrebounded the opposition 149-111 for a plus-12.7 margin, leading to the three straight.
