Troy Track and Field Wraps Up South Alabama Invitational

BIRMINGHAM, Ala-Â Troy track and field wrapped up the South Alabama Jaguar Invitational on Sunday evening at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
The Trojans continued their strong showing of the season with three podium finishes and 19 top 20 finishes.
Biniosa Ezukuse secured her best finish of the season by winning the women's shot put with a throw of 14.76m. Ezukuse also competed in the weight throw and finished just off the podium with a throw of 17.50 meters to garner fourth place.
In the women's weight throw, all six Trojans finished inside the top 20.
On the sprints side, Kasia Cooper competed in the 400, where she crossed the line second with a time of 56.61. She was followed by Kyra Dullage with a time of 1:01.30.
Kady Schwietz tied her personal best in the women's 60m hurdles at 9.25. While Alejandra Gutierrez Fuente etched a new personal best with a 9.19. in the 60m hurdles.
On the men's side, Jack Anderson picked up his best finish of the season with a fourth-place finish in the high jump with a jump of 1.96 meters.
