United in Cardinal, Taylor Swift Night and Faculty and Staff Appreciation Among Special Promos for Women’s Basketball

TROY, Ala. – Two games remain in Trojan Arena for the 2023-24 season as the Troy women's basketball team invites App State on Wednesday before closing the regular season against in-state rival South Alabama on Friday – both games tip-off at 6 p.m. With a regular-season championship still within reach, Troy athletics is excited to announce many promotions and unique themes, including United in Cardinal and Taylor Swift Night.
Wednesday, Feb. 28 – WBB vs. App State – 6 p.m.
Theme: Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night
Ticket Specials
• In honor of Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night, all faculty and staff can receive up to four complimentary reserved tickets.
• All general admission tickets have been cut to $1, with all kids able to enter for free.
• With a baseball game at Riddle-Pace Field at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, all who attend it can also come to the basketball game for free when they show their ticket stub at the ticket booth.
In-game Promos
• During halftime, Troy athletics celebrates National Girls and Women in Sports Day by recognizing the Troy women's athletic programs.
• The halftime entertainment comes from the fans themselves, who will have a chance to participate in the MGM Paper Airline Toss Contest. In the 'Nothing But Jet' Paper Airline Toss Contest, all participants can win a flight voucher from Montgomery Airport.
• While the women's basketball senior festivities took place two weeks ago, the cheer team gets its senior day celebration at halftime.
• To celebrate Black History Month, Troy athletics will feature a variety of in-game activities to help commemorate all the Trojans who helped pave the route to equality.
• With it being Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night, all faculty and staff can be recognized in-game.
Giveaways
• The first 500 fans in attendance can receive complimentary Troy sunglasses.
Food Promos
• Wednesday's special food items include loaded fries.

• In between the first and second quarters, the 'Sound of the South' will honor its seniors on Senior Day.
