Education Day for Women’s Basketball Announced on Dec. 4 Against Oakwood

TROY, Ala. – With the 2024-25 women's basketball season kick-started against Buffalo on Monday, Troy athletics is proud to announce Education Day for the program's first home game in Trojan Arena against Oakwood on Dec. 4. Tip-off is scheduled for noon.
""I love that our first home game is also Education Day, where we can play some exciting basketball in front of all the young Trojan fans," head coach Chanda Rigby said. "It'll be an exciting game and good way to kick off the home schedule."
Admission to the event is free for all fans, with season ticket holders retaining their usual seats. Everyone's favorite mascot, T-Roy, who is fresh off his 40th birthday, will be in attendance and interact with the schools throughout. Additionally, all promotions throughout the game will involve the schools. Doors are set to open at 11 a.m. for a noon tip-off, but schools that need to arrive earlier may make accommodations with Troy athletics. Due to the noon tip-off, schools and students can bring their bagged lunches to the game.
All schools, administrators and teachers looking to RSVP your school/class for this year's event, please contact Jack Brown via email at jdbrown@troy.edu. Buses are welcome, and administrators are asked to include those details in their ticket requests.
