Biniosa Ezukuse Competes on Day Two of NCAA East Preliminary

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Troy's sole competitor on Thursday night for the NCAA East Preliminary Biniosa Ezukuse, moved up the board to finish 34th in the women's shot put event at Jax Track in Hodges Stadium.
She had three opportunities to find her mark as a member of the second flight due to her 36th seed. However, a fault on her first attempt left her with two chances. That's when she hit the peak on her second attempt with a mark of 15.29m to place her in the 32nd position.
Ezukuse's third throw stuck above the 15-meter mark at 15.14m, failing to improve on her second attempt. After the remaining competition wrapped up their third attempt, the junior fell two spots to 34th.
Javon Osbourne and Jaggerd Moore wrap up the first round for the Trojans tomorrow at noon and 1:30 p.m., respectively.
