Four Troy Golfers Earn Academic All-District Honors

TROY, Ala. – ShaeLee Scarberry represented the Troy women's golf team on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team, while Brantley Scott, Will McFadden and Jake Springer represented the men's golf team on the CSC Academic All-District Men's At-Large Team.
The CSC Academic All‐America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All‐District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All‐America ballot. First, second and third‐team Academic All‐America honorees will be announced June 21 and 22.
Scarberry graduated this spring with a degree in sport management and carried a 3.77 grade-point-average heading into the semester. On the course, she led the Trojans with a 1.85 score vs. par and with six rounds under-par this season.
Scott posted a 3.52 GPA in risk management insurance in the classroom and earned an at-large bit into the NCAA Regionals after posting Troy's best single-season stroke average in the program's Division I history. McFadden earned his degree in international finance with a 3.81 GPA heading into the spring as he wrapped his successful Troy career, while Springer carries a 3.94 GPA in risk management insurance in addition to 12 rounds under-par this season.
