Despite falling for the first time since March 4 on Wednesday, the Trojans (21-8-1, 2-0-1 SBC) enter the weekend fourth in the conference after the SBC's opening weekend. The Warhawks (18-12, 2-1 SBC) aren't far behind them in sixth after going 2-1 against Georgia Southern.

Through 30 games, ULM hasn't seen an efficient time at the plate, averaging a .254 on 744 at-bats to rank ninth in the league. The team excels defensively on the field, with the team having the most efficient fielders in the conference at 98 percent.
Alexis Chavez, Kennedy Johnson and Ashlan Ard stand as the premiere trio for the Warhawks at the plate, ranking in the top 30 of the conference in batting averages at .421, .407 and .400, respectively.
