Troy’s T-Day Festivities Set for April 15 – Features Kids Clinic, Yard Sale and Lunch with Legends

TROY, Ala. – Troy's annual T-Day Spring Football Game presented by The Vance Law Firm is scheduled for Saturday, April 15, at The Vet, in conjunction with that evening's Troy University Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. In addition to the two headlining events, the day will be filled with activities for fans of all ages to enjoy.

"We're looking forward to another jam-packed T-Day with several activities and events for Troy fans of all ages," Director of Athletics Brent Jones said. "T-Day has truly become a highlight of our spring season on campus with Lunch with Legends, the kids clinic, the athletics yard sale and the game itself. Saturday, April 15, is going to be an exciting day for all of Trojan Nation."

The day opens with the second annual Lunch with Legends beginning at 11 a.m. in the Stadium Club. This year's lineup is still being finalized featuring some of the all-time greats in Troy Football history; ticket information will be announced when the lineup has been confirmed.

Troy's annual youth clinic follows on the turf of The Vet beginning at noon and is free to all kids 12 and under, thanks to a partnership with Troy Regional Medical Center. The Troy Athletics Yard Sale on the West Concourse of The Vet is back by popular demand. The sale opens at 1 p.m. and features jerseys from football and other sports, helmet decals, shirts, shorts, pants, hoodies, shoes, cleats and bats.

Kickoff for head coach Jon Sumrall's second T-Day is scheduled for 2 p.m. The Sound of the South, T-Roy and the Troy Cheerleaders will all be in attendance to entertain fans while "Voice of the Trojans" Barry McKnight plus sideline reporters Chris Blackshear and Junior Louissaint will have full coverage of the game on TroyTrojans.com with exclusive sideline interviews with players and coaches during the game.

The celebration concludes that evening at 7 p.m. in Trojan Arena with the induction of seven Troy greats into the Troy University Sports Hall of Fame. Tickets and tables are available by visiting TroyTrojans.com/HOFTickets.
