Troy’s Cure Bowl Fan Activities Announced; Commencement Ceremony Schedule for Thursday

TROY, Ala. – With No. 23 Troy preparing to descend on Orlando for the Cure Bowl next week, Troy Athletics announced Thursday a complete listing of team and fan activities surrounding the game, including a supplemental commencement ceremony at Universal's CityWalk on Thursday night.

In addition to the public fan events, the Troy Football team and Troy Cheerleaders will be active in the Orlando community on Wednesday and Thursday. The football team will participate in several community service events Wednesday afternoon and then take part in the U.S. Hunger Project at Universal CityWalk on Thursday, while the Troy Cheer will participate in community service efforts Thursday morning.

Thursday, December 15
5-6 p.m. - Pep Rally and Battle of the Bands

This event is open to all fans to attend as part of the Cure Bowl

6 p.m. – Supplemental Graduation Ceremony

Immediately following the Pep Rally, nearly 25 members of the football program and the Sound of the South will have their degrees conferred by Chancellor Dr. Jack Hawkins Jr. Troy's traditional commencement ceremony is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 14.

Features the Sound of the South Pep Band and a portion of the Troy Cheerleaders as part of the bowl activities highlight Cancer Thrivers
