Trojans Open Indoor Track and Field Season

TROY, Ala. – The indoor track and field season gets set to kick off tomorrow, December 2, as they head north to Birmingham to participate in the BSC Icebreaker held by Birmingham Southern College.
This will be the second consecutive year the Trojans will participate in the BSC Challenge, as last season, Troy saw plenty of top-five finishers at the meet.
Vennessa Frank returns and looks to build off her second-place finish with a time of 56.73 in the 400-meter dash. Biniosa Ezkuse took home second place in the women's Shot-put, recording a throw of 13.69m, followed by Abby Gronsinke, who finished in fifth place with a throw of 12.80m. Ezukuse also got second in the Women's Weight Throw at 16.36m. Leah Kennedy would follow in fourth with a throw of 15.38m.
Trojans will participate in a multitude of events, including the women's 60m, 200m, 400m, women's high jump, long jump, shot put, triple jump, weight throw, and 4x400 relay.
This will be the Trojans only meet in the month of December, as they won't be back until January 14th.
