Troy Cross Country Closes Season at NCAA South Regional

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Troy men's cross-country team finished their 2022 season with a 11th place finish at the NCAA South Regional, Friday from the John Hunt Cross Country Park.
For the second consecutive year Mason Bennett paced the Trojans with a 152nd place finish and a time of 33.56.90 in the men's 10k. Following right behind Bennett was Bennett Brake who crossed the finish line in 153rd with at time of 33:57.00.
Dylan Nelson, Saindeley Dorsainvil, Michale Marvin and Andy Salgado wrapped up the day and secured the 11th place team finish for Troy after Nelson finished the meet in 34:37.60 for a 162nd place finish, Dorsainvil 168th in 35:10.30, Marvin 173rd after running 35:26.20 and Andy Salgado came in 175th to wrap up the meet in 35:37.10.
All six runners will now prepare for the Trojan track and field season beginning on December 2.
